I suppose it's that old adage about being a "small fish in a big sea," but I'm getting sick of New York City's job-hunting bullshit. It drives me nuts when I see a job ad for an admin assistant position that says, "Must have graduated from a top school with a high GPA, must have 3 years office experience." Uh, excuse me? Why would someone with a high GPA apply to be a secretary?
Oh wait, now I'm shit-talking myself. Sigh.
